The gift of the Holy Spirit
Confirmation is a Catholic sacrament that strengthens and deepens the grace received at Baptism. During Confirmation, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit is invoked to strengthen the person in their Christian life and to make them a witness of Christ. It is conferred through the laying on of hands and anointing, under the authority of our bishop, Most Rev. John A. Rinaldi.
